Access Information for Industry

Policy updated and effective 02/06/2013

The THEW was openned in December 2008, your organization can get copy of the databases in this ECG digital repository by becoming one of our members. The THEW is a nonprofit organization.

The THEW proposes two types of membership: 1) the "Full-Access Membership" which provides access to all data, tools and services proposed by the THEW, and 2) the "Basic Membership" that requires per-database purchases. The table below describes the access fees which varies according to company size. The membership are valid for one year. Please note that the database in the second table marked with "*" requires a research proposal to be submitted prior to purchasing the data access.

1) Basic membership includes:

Access to the E-Hol-03-0201-003 database including 201 24-hour Holter recordings from healthy individuals (and associated clinical characteristics).
Access addtional database for preferential fees (described in the Table below). A copy of the database can be obtained through our SFTP server or by mail on an external hard-drive (the cost of the external hard-drive is not included in the membership)
Access to the THEW Translational Research Group (TRG) and associated working groups. The TRG gathersTHEW partners to develop collaborative projects between the FDA, University of Rochester, and other public and private stakeholders.

2) Full-access membership includes :

Full access to all databases throught the THEW secured FTP server or by receiveing a full copy of the warehouse database (at the time fo the registration) by mail on an external hard-drive (the cost of the external hard-drive is not included in the membership).
Access to the THEW Translational Research Group (TRG) and associated working groups. The TRG gathersTHEW partners to develop collaborative projects between the FDA, University of Rochester, and other public and private stakeholders.
Please note: the access to any new database loaded in the repository during a membership period should be purchased separately.
