the THEW Client Application and VIDEO USer GUIDEs
The THEW client Apllication is a WINDOWS-based application that can be installed on your personal computer without specific memory, speed requirements and updates. The application is based on the .NET framework version 2.0 and exploit the most recent software technologies related to client-server communication and data exhange. The THEW Client Application is a user-account based software that requires the user to open a THEW account.
Technical Specifications:
- 1- Windows XP or Vista
- 2- at least 512 MB of memory (RAM)
- 3. Connection to internet (dial-up connection is not recommended)
Information you need before installing the application:
- 1. The THEW Client Application executable (thew.rev1.exe).
- 2.The adress to the THEW server.
- 3. Your username and password (the system will ask you to change your password when you connect for the first time).
- 4. The name of the database you want to connect using the THEW application.
As a remark, if your computer does not include the .NET framwork version 2.0 it will be installed automatically on your PC when installing the THEW Client Application.

Please note that the current access to the THEW server has been secured. So make sure to use the HTTPS://thew-project.org/ server adress when you add a database to the client application. The video above does not include the secured adress.
